Announcing Winter Water Games 2023 + Fluorescent Point:

Life has been kicking me in the gut recently. I had initially planned to start a series called Nemo: which would see the Anthro Gang travel on a high tech underwater cruise submarine to Daymark Bay for an early edition of the Winter Water Games: but my Mom was recently diagnosed with melanoma, my cat is behaving strangely, and winter has arrived 2 months far too early and this early cold weather is already having an impact.

So yeah, Nemo isn't happening. However, I'm slowly returning to the plains of reality, plus the 1st of June is this Thursday, so starting on Thursday, is the Winter Water Games 2023 Edition.

Once again, the Anthro Gang travel to Land's End's famous Daymark Bay in Cornwall (Which is in the southern Hemisphere here, just roll with it.) to take part in a recently adopted winter edition of the beloved Spring Water Games. It works the same way as the regular Water Games, but because its winter, the participants are required to wear wetsuits instead of shorter swimsuits or bikinis to avoid the cold air and cold water from causing them harm and ensure that regardless of the cold, they can still enjoy the water.

Hopefully co-existing alongside Winter Water Games is Fluorescent Point: a non-canon series taking place in the heart of Jarvis-Town at a place called, well, Fluorescent Point. Fluorescent Point is a marvel of Gremlin landscaping, as they turned an overgrown wasteland in to a massive network of waterways, artificial rivers and lakes, complete with ports and industrial output, all of it carefully sculpted to resemble IRL parts of Australia's coastline. It gets the name Fluorescent Point from the large number of navigation lights needed for the Gremlin ships that serve the area to navigate safely. The Anthro Gang will be traveling around inside the Fluorescent Point Area, with some idiot pratfalls along the way. Fluorescent Point is meant to be a comedy, so expect some crazy stuff to happen. XD

So yeah, I've disappeared again without warning, it's normal for me to do this; but, It's getting close to June, so I gotta start preparing for the Winter Water Games, which unlike the regular Water Games, takes place every 4 years; the first having taken place in 2018.

Also, Playground on the Bay 3 is scheduled for next year January. The first Playground on the Bay, which I also did in 2018, was possibly the most enjoyable project I ever worked on for deviantART, and looking back at the drawings brings back so much nostalgia. I did a sequel in early 2020 called Playground on the Bay 2, but this one turned out to be a flop due to questionable storyline choices. And so, this planned 3rd installment will write the wrongs of the 2nd installment.

I also have something else planned for June, but that one will be revealed in time.

This year in regards to the universe my story takes place in is going to be special. A special art project related to an important event in my story-verse is taking place in June of this year, and I will discuss more about it when the time comes.

Operation Maldives; now on its 4th incarnation, is being split into two sub series:

Operation Maldives 4 will stay known as Operation Maldives 4, but it will focus mainly on the going ons at the Maldives Project Site.

The other sub series will be known as The Maldives Run, which will focus on the ships taking part in the Maldives Projects, their Captains, and their crew.

There are two other projects in the pipeline that are canon to the main storyline:

Operation Manhattan: The Gremlins purchase the abandoned New York City with plans to revive it for their own uses.

Crystal Bank: This one I will explain in the first part. :D

I will also be doing a bunch of spin off stories that aren't canon to the main storyline to be able to cover multiple parts of my universe as well.

Keep your eyes peeled and watch this space!

Well, I suppose I disappeared again. There is a reason though. In late August, I went on vacation (Sort of) to the city of Bloemfontein, a 5 hour drive from my hometown, the main reason for the trip being for my younger sister to write her hairstylist pre-trade test.

While there, I managed to land a private guided tour of the South African Armour Museum, as seen by the photos I recently posted (I still have to post the rest).

However, I was in Bloemfontein for almost entire week, so it messed up usual daily routine, which I was hoping to get back into upon my return home.

Then, my entire family caught Corona, and so we spent an entire month in isolation, as we didn't all get it at the same time: my sister got it first, then my parents, then myself. This extra month set me back in trying to get back into my routine. Thankfully, we've since recovered and now I have a chance to try and get back into my routine.
